Integration of existing reprocessing devices

Our goal is to assist you in complying with your obligations under the Medical Devices Act (Medizinproduktegesetz - MPG) and in implementing a quality management system with smart technology and clever software. Most importantly, we want the investment in hardware and software associated with that to pay off as quickly as possible through the effects of cost-cutting, rationalisation, and controlling.

While their professional organisations still haggle over whether manual sterile reprocessing is allowed, or not, many of our dentists already switched to a largely automated, secure, quick, and effective reprocessing cycle long ago.

Cases in which the automated readout, computer-aided release, and secure, long-term archiving of machine logs from the disinfectors and sterilisers require a completely new set of machinery are virtually non-existent.

Connection of thermal disinfectors without an integrated data interface

If your TDI is up-to-date in terms of hygiene and only lacks a data interface, then you can immediately record the complete temperature curve from the reprocessing phase using the DIOS MP blackbox data logger. Connecting remote TDIs and sterilisers

Your devices have a data interface but need to be connected to the EDP system without construction work or cable routing? We have the right answer to this problem, too: DIOS MP LOG stores the logs on a portable memory card directly at the TDI or steriliser. The card's content is read into your EDP system – where the logs are edited and saved – later. Basically, you are already familiar with this process from your digital camera. Ultimately, notes jotted down on paper at the devices are consigned to history directly after the installation of MP LOG. Cable harnesses for TDIs and sterilisers

To connect devices with a variety of interfaces to your EDP system directly, DIOS offers a wide-range of proprietary cable connections. The cable harnesses are checked and tested for safe operation with all DIOS software products, such as DIOS MP, DIOS MP steridat, and DIOS QM. Barcode scanners and printers

The bar code is the basis of our successful DIOS MP product range.
A few bars is all it takes to encode the word DIOS – and the entire DIOS MP system works just as easily.

The bar/matrix codes on many medical devices can be archived quickly and conveniently using inexpensive scanners and DIOS MP. Using the DIOS system and an inexpensive label printer, the production of your practice's own bar codes for labelling patient records, employees or sterile item packaging is done in the blink of an eye.

PC hand scanner for recording goods receipt and consumption data

These robust all-rounders accomplish every task, including reading the 2D codes on many types of product packaging. This makes them perfectly suited for use at a central recording station – goods receipt or warehouse management, for instance. We provide inexpensive wired hand scanners, as well as convenient wireless scanners that afford you more freedom of movement. PC hand scanner used only for recording consumption data

Inexpensive devices that record only the bar codes produced by you are sufficient for recording data in all other areas of the practice. These also include wired and wireless scanners for use at a PC with a USB or a serial port. You will find all the devices currently on offer with prices here.

PC hand scanner used for recording consumption data only when mobile

Data recording using our memory-mini scanners is even more agile and flexible. These mini data collectors fit in the pocket of every lab coat and can be used wirelessly anywhere in the practice and even outside. The stored data are transferred to a main workstation for processing at regular intervals. Label printer

You can also choose between different designs when it comes to bar code printers for smudge/acid-proof labels.
